1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Crevia (“Crevia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our mobile applications (Crevia and Crevia Pro), website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
2. Description of Services
Crevia operates a marketplace platform that connects content creators (“Creators”) with cameramen (“Cameramen”). Our platform facilitates the discovery, booking, communication, and payment process between Creators and Cameramen. Crevia is not a party to the agreements between Creators and Cameramen and does not directly provide filming or camera services.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- -Provide accurate and complete registration information
- -Maintain the security of your account credentials
- -Promptly update any changes to your information
- -Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- -Be at least 18 years of age
4. User Conduct
When using our Services, you agree not to:
- -Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- -Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- -Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- -Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- -Attempt to circumvent the platform's payment system
- -Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform
- -Impersonate another person or entity
5. Bookings & Payments
5.1 Booking Process
Creators may submit booking requests to Cameramen through the platform. A booking is confirmed when the Cameraman accepts the request. Both parties are expected to honor confirmed bookings.
5.2 Payments
All payments are processed through Stripe. When a booking is confirmed, the Creator's payment is captured and held securely. Upon completion of the work, funds are released to the Cameraman's Stripe Connect account. Crevia charges a platform fee on each transaction.
5.3 Cancellations
Cancellation policies may vary. We encourage both parties to communicate promptly about any changes to confirmed bookings. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.
6. Intellectual Property
The Crevia name, logo, and all related branding are the property of Crevia. Users retain ownership of their own content (portfolio items, messages, reviews). By posting content on the platform, you grant Crevia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content in connection with operating the Services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Crevia does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Cameramen, the accuracy of user profiles, or the ability of users to complete transactions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crevia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crevia, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Termination
Crevia may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
